Hello everyone....as I searched the internet for cool digital media stuff....I came accross a great Web site that allows you to hear interviews from people in the digital media industry. I thought what a better way to learn than to listen to some experts. There is also lots of news and blogs on stuff that's happening in digital media. You can download the interviews in the form of podcasts, downloads, and streams. I listened to a few, and they are quite interesting. I myself am not too technology savy and find things like this quite useful.

The URL: http://www.insidedigitalmedia.com/

On a different note, I want to work in marketing when I graduate and as I've learned in my internships, PhotoShop and Illustrator type programs are a must. I have some working knowledge, but not a lot. If anyone finds any exceptionally great learning tools for such programs, please send my way!

Sonia :)

I wrote a blog just now on this topic, but check out NetG courses offered free from UF.

A large portion of the courses are dedicated to both photoshop and illustrator. I am going to take them as I agree everyone needs to know how to work Photoshop and Illustrator.
